- Watford will welcome Liverpool high on confidence and only four points off the top four. Leicester’s achievements have deflected much of the praise that would normally have gone Quique Sanchez Flores’ way by this point, but he will prefer it that way, as the Hornets quietly go about their business.
- Liverpool make the trip having failed to win in any of their last three competitive matches. They have, however, notably picked up their two biggest results on the road this season and will play with less pressure without the eyes of the Kop watching on.
